So Halloween is one of those holiday that can really confuse a autistic kids. But i have to say michael really enjoy him self...
How i made it work:
I start with giving michael a choices with costume
do you want to be a pirate or spider man?
Keep it simple is the key as well so if you kids doesnt like paint on their face or a mask dont make them have it on because you want a complete costume..
so michael ask to be spider man, And because he want it he was happy to hole day.
All michael's from Bermagui little lamb preschool
After school we organized for one friend to come trick or teat with michael.
That way he would get over whelm he had more fun driving around looking for house with balloon then getting lollies...
[Im from Australia and halloween not a real holiday for this country so our small community have made a rule for halloween if you have lollies and you want kids to knock on your door dress up put a balloon out the front of your house]
This year i want to show michael what it like to have kids come to the house so we had lollie ready to hand out to kids it was a fun night to dress up..
